The eco-museum of the Bresse Bourguignonne is located in the beautiful surroundings of the castle of Pierre de Bresse.Many rooms you will allow you to discover:
- The architecture of the castle and the lives of families who have lived there,
- The natural environment of the region, with explanations on its valleys and ponds,
- The history of the region,
- The old traditional life and local works,
- The furniture style of the region
- The Noirot collection of stuffed animals, with a strong emphasis on birds.
Planning:
The museum is open from 14:00 to 18:00 all the year, and from 10:00 to 19:00 from May the 15th to September the 30th.Closed between December the 25th and January the 1st.
Allow between one and half an hour & two hours to understand the nature and the local life.
