Description:

The Museum of the Hospice Saint-Roch presents its collections divided into several areas:
- The pharmacy and medical collections (19th century),
- The archaeological collection of the city, located in the original building of the Hospice,
- The Harpsichord made per Jean Denis, the oldest one listed in France (1646),
- The paintings collection, of the 17th and 18th centuries (works by Breughel, Corneil de Heem or Begeyn),
- The chapel and the trees of Jesse,
- The Leonor Fini lounge: reconstitution of the parisian lounge of the artist, Vrilliere Street in Paris.

The pharmacy founded in 1646 shows a collection of objects of the 18th and 19th centuries.
The pharmacy has a unique collection with its 379 Nevers earthenware pots. It has also important collections of surgery and dentistry.
It is completed by the medicine herb garden.

The archaeological collection contains objects all coming from the region, dating from the earliest Upper Paleolithic, the Iron Age (objects in gold, bronze and iron, swords, ornaments) and from the Gallo-Roman period.
It shows also sarcophagi and medieval effigies.

From October to April: open from Wednesday to Friday: from 14h00 to 18h00; on Saturday and Sunday: from 10h00 to 12h00 and from 14h00 to 18h00
From May to September: open on Monday and Tuesday: from 14h00 to 19h00; from Wednesday to Sunday: from 10h00 to 12h00 and from 14h00 to 19h00

The museum is closed on May the 1st, November the 1st, November the 11th, and December the 24th to the 26th.
