Description:

You will be dazzled by Greek Villa Kerylos.
This palace, built in the early 20th century, is extraordinary because it is the reconstruction of an antique palace.
Theodore Reinach, an archaeologist, and Emmanuel Pontremoli, architect, drew their inspiration with the houses of the 2nd century BC built on the island of Delos.

The audio tour will describe the beautiful parts of the house, and then you will go through:
- Peristyle, where you will be able to admire the frescoes and columns of this courtyard,
- The library, with its two levels,
- The triklinos, the banquet room with beds for dinner and extraordinary ceiling
- The balaneon, private baths,
- The Erotes, chamber of Theodore Reinach,
- The Ornites, the chamber of his wife,
- The Andron, so clear and so obscure at once, which immerses you in an atmosphere so different from the other rooms of the house and so close to the parable of the Plato's cave ...

Planning:

In one hour or one and half an hour, you take the time to immerse yourself more than 2000 years back in the past and you appreciate how the notables lived.
