Description:
Visitors will discover via this plant a pole of excellence of the Airbus industries, which was built here in Saint-Nazaire in 2008.This site is specialized in:
- The assembly,
- The equipment,
- Testing & central front of fuselages.
The walking tour of the two sets of workshops named POLARIS & COMET allows to have spectacular views of the sections of different models of Airbus under construction.
The 2/3rd of the Aibus fuselages are shipped by plants of Saint-Nazaire (Front & center of the fuselages).
It should be noted that some of the tours may be changed without notice according to constraints related to business activity.
Once completed, the sections are transported by the cargo plane Beluga (see photo above) in Toulouse for the final assembly.
Planning:
The tour lasts 2 hours.It is mandatory to reserve at least 10-days in advance (2 days in advance to the citizens of the European Union).

The Airbus factories are closed to tourists from January the 1st to February the 5th. Disclaimer : The management team of the destination has the possibility to change the opening days and hours without prior communication.
Comments:
The city of Montoir-de-Bretagne welcomes Airbus the factories, the airport of Saint-Nazaire and the methane port.The beginning of the tour takes place at the submarine base in Saint-Nazaire (see photos below). To get there, follow the signs 'VILLE-PORT'.
Pets are not allowed during the visit.
