Description:
The General Conference of UNESCO has proclaimed at its 34th Session, 2010 as International Year for the Rapprochement of Cultures.UN General Assembly endorsed the proposal by the adoption of resolution A/62/90 17 December 2007. In 2008, the General Assembly has 'requested UNESCO, in consultation with Member States and extrabudgetary resources, to play a leading role in preparations for the celebration of the Year' (resolution A/63 / 22 of 16 December 2008).
The objective of this year and is celebrated to bring the policies of all levels (local, regional, national and international) by the angle of approach of cultures.
