Description:

The cave shows rock carvings dating from the Magdalenian period (15,000 BC).
Very large designs are:
- Horses,
- Bears,
- Reindeers
- Aurochs.

A feature of this cave is that many traces of bear claws are present on the wall, and show that the cave was inhabited long before the arrival of Cro-Magnon people.

Planning:

The tour lasts approximately half an hour.

The cave is open:
- From February to June: daily (except on Mondays in February and March) from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 17:30
- In July and August: daily from 10:00 to 19:00,
- From September to early January: daily (except on Mondays starting on November) from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 17:00. The cave is also open on Mondays from September to November during the school holidays.

The last entries are accepted 30 minutes before closing. Disclaimer : The management team of the destination has the possibility to change the opening days and hours without prior communication.

Comments:

The show of the drawings is completed by the presence of stalactites.
