Humanity is at a turning point in the electricity generation and distribution. In this context, the French government has decided to set up a national debate on energy transition that will lead to autumn 2013 on a new law. The title alone already sheds some light on the answer: it is not whether a transition energy is required. It has already begun. The question is to know how the drive the change and therefore to give a direction of the future changes.
In the context of this debate and as opening of the Sustainable Development Week (from the 1st to the 7th of April), the Department of Ecology, of the Sustainable Development and of the Energy suggested that energy companies open the doors of their facilities to the public on Friday the 29th, on Saturday the 30th and on Sunday the 31st of March, 2013.
Thus French large companies linked to énergies are open during these three days according to the same principle as the Heritage Days. Animations are planed for children and adults like the greatest you will discover energy issues, understand the role to understand questions related to énergies and to understand the coming national discussions.
Planning:
This event is similar to Heritage Days, but only dedicated to energy. It takes place from Friday the 29th to Sunday the 31st of March, 2013. Disclaimer : The management team of the destination has the possibility to change the opening days and hours without prior communication.
