Description:

The Museum of Picardy is the Palais des Beaux Arts.
Opened in front of the famous writer Jules Verne, it includes several collections:
- Archaeology,
- Painting

Archaeological collections cover the following periods:
- Paleolithic
- Neolithic
- Bronze Age
- Iron Age
- Egyptian Antiquities
- Greek Antiquities
- Gallo-Roman Antiquities
- Medieval Collections.

The paintings are French and foreign (Italian, Spanish, Flemish, Dutch) from the 15th century until the 20th century.

- On Tuesday: from 10h00 to 12h00 and from 14h00 to 18h00,
- On Wednesday: from 10h00 to 18h00.
- On Thursday: from 10h00 to 12h00 and from 14h00 to 21h00.
- On Friday: from 10h00 to 12h00 and 14h00 to 18h00,
- On Saturday: from 10h00 to 12h00 and from 14h00 to 18h00,
- On Sunday: from 14h00 to 19h00

It is closed on Sunday and on Monday morning.

Closed on January the 1st, May the 1st and the 8th, July the 14th, November the 1st and December the 25th. Disclaimer : The management team of the destination has the possibility to change the opening days and hours without prior communication.

Comments:

The local art and regional history museum (Hotel de Berny) located near Notre-Dame d'Amiens is an annex of the Museum of Picardy.
It is devoted to Amiens personalities and art objects of the 17th and 18th centuries.
