Two dates in 2009 in Copenhagen
- from May 24 to 26: World Summit on Climate Change Business ,
- November 30: World Summit on Climate Change, Copenhagen Climate Council - COP15
The United Nations Conference on Climate Change will meet for the 15th time in November 2009 in Copenhagen this time.
This meeting will be the largest in this round of discussions. Ministers from 189 countries will attend.
His goal is clear: negotiate and adopt a post-Kyoto framework that would help to further reduce emissions of greenhouse gas emissions.
In preparation the summit, a summit on climate change business will take place in Copenhagen from 24 to 26 May 2009 to reflect the needs of the business community.

Planning:

history of global conventions on climate change:
- 1995, Berlin: Initialization discussions that helped to save more later place the Kyoto Protocol;
- 1997, Kyoto: Establish agreements to reduce greenhouse gas emissions after particularly difficult discussions between the EU and the United States. Click here for details .

- 2001, Bonn and Marrakech: Most of the disagreements between EU and USA are favorable responses;
- 2002, Delhi: No significant progress,
- 2003, Milan: The calculations on the establishment of CO2 emission allowances are clarified;
- 2004, Buenos Aires: The first informal discussions are initiated after 2012;
- 2005, Montreal: Orientation activities post-2012 2 areas: Preparation for future cooperation on climate (involving countries like the U.S. and major emerging markets), and practical applications of the obligations of the Kyoto Protocol beyond 2012;
- 2006, Nairobi: Last establish a more precise timetable and problem solving always open to the Kyoto Protocol;
- 2007, Bali: Set up a roadmap for preparing for the implementation of the agreements. An adjustment fund is also established to help developing countries;
