Comments:

Grand-Pressigny area is a region where many flint stones were found, so many that the village gave its name to the pressignienne industry.

These flints were cut on a period from -2800 to -2450, that is to say at the end of the Neolithic. Some blades are 40 cm long
As reminder, the Neolithic is a gradual process that does not happen everywhere at the same time. This period began in -9000 BC in the Middle East and ended with the metal indeustry and the invention of writing at around -3300 BC.
An area for baby cares, as well as accessibility for strollers is set-up.
Pets are not allowed.
A car park is located nearby, with places reserved for disable persons: the museum is labeled Tourism and Handicap.
A picnic area is set-up.
