Description:

This site is a troglodyte village.

One finds:
- Not less than 70 rooms in 5 levels in this cliff dwelling carved made of volcanic tuff,
- A castle,
- A Roman chapel and its frescoes from the 11th century,
- A bakery with bread oven,
- And also a Celtic shrine.

You will discover the vestiges of this medieval life.

Planning:

The tour lasts approximately one hour.

The site is open at the following hours:
- From October to March: Open on Sundays, bank holidays and school holidays from 11:00 to 17:00 (closed from November the 12th to December the 19th)
- In April: open from the 5th every day from 11:00 to 18:00,
- In May, June & September: Open from Monday to Saturday from 13:00 to 18:00; open on Sundays, bank holidays and weekends of May the 1st & the 8th as well as that of the Ascension from 10:30 to 18:00,
- In July and August: open daily from 10:00 to 19:00.

The Site is closed on 01/01 and 12/25.

Guided tours take place daily (except on Saturday) in July and August, and by appointment the rest of the year.

The last visitor is accepted 30 minutes before closure of the site.
