Located in an old 17th century house, the museum's collections are organized along three axes:
- Folk, at first: a Poitevin interior that presents among other things shrouds and clothing of the region,
- Archaeology, with outstanding exhibitions of ceramics from the 1st century AD, coming from Gallo-Roman sites in Chauvigny & Antigny, but also via many medieval objects,
- The old jobs where you will discover the tools of shoemakers, tinsmiths, coopers and many other professions.
