 Michelin equipped many types of vehicles, this is why in the lobby welcomes you a Breguet aircraft accompanied by a Micheline locomotive. The museum of the Michelin Adventure has 9 components of this epic: - Presentation of transportation in the late 19th century, - The tires on the road, - The tires in the air, - The tires on the rails, -The Bibendum Square, that presents objects and events related to communication and the history of this industrial adventure, - The world in the map, which launches you through its maps and guides roads and on the restaurants of the world, - The radial revolution, which reveals the technological history of the current tire - The encyclopedia of the little 'rubber', where the life cycle of rubber is explained to you from the choice of the essence until the recycling of the tire, - Mysteries of the tube, where you won't only find that inventors are inflated but where you will be blown away by the latest innovations ... :-)  32 rue du Clos Four, 63100 Clermont-Ferrand The entrance faces the Stade Marcel Michelin near the Avenue of the Republic.  The museum is open at the following hours: - From September to June: from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., - In July and August: daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The last entry is 1h30 before the museum closes. Disclaimer : The management team of the destination has the possibility to change the opening days and hours without prior communication.  The museum is located in a former Michelin workshop, which ends to plunge the visitor into the world of business. The museum is accessible to the disable persons. |
