The trade of distiller is slowly dying out.
Indeed, nobody can get license distiller anymore, and the last ones are less and less young.

This museum brings us right into a chemist den or into an alchemist one.

To see these devices, these gleaming copper vats connected to each other by glass tubes, over open flame or brick ovens puts you clearly in the atmosphere!
