Temporary exhibitions provide additional relief for the understanding of prehistory and the world of dinosaurs.
For example, in 2008-2009, the Plesiosaur de la Greve was shown, marine reptile that lived from Jurassic (-200 million years) to the disappearance of the dinosaurs in the Cretaceous (-65 million years).

Art exhibitions are also shown such as the Delphine IZZO's work.

At last, the museum provides teachers with factsheets and teaching methods for all levels of school (from kindergarten to high school).
