The Arena of Nimes are full of superlatives!

The way put in place since 2006 allows you to go from galleries to interior galleriesand to the Arena (the sand track).

Plan one to three hours to have a good visit.

The Arena is open according to the schedule found by clicking here.

The last entry with an audio tour takes place one hour before closing arenas.
The last free entry is 30 minutes before closing the site.

The 3rd Friday, Saturday and Sunday in September, the arenas are closed to visitors since the Feria of the vintages takes place. Bullfights are also scheduled during these festivities. An audio-guided trail has been set-up and allows to fully complete the visit.
Illustrations of the 'gallery Gladiators' fit the vision acquired by visitors to the monument, and demonstrations of virtual combat as well as movies end to dive you into the world of Roman games.

Pets are not allowed inside the arena.
