The Observatory of Paris is present in three locations:
- Paris
- Meudon
- Nancay
Seven laboratories form the center, which is a large facility and has the status university.

Two hours are needed to visit this location in Paris founded by Colbert, and more specifically:
- The room of the talking clocks,
- The large gallery with magnificent instruments of observation,
- The Chamber Council decorated with the Directors of the Observatory of Paris,
- The Cassini room, crossed in a north-south axis by the Paris meridian and shown via brass rod
- The 18th century Arago dome and his telescope.
