The house of Bread is split in four areas:
- Explanation of the techniques, how the bread is made everywhere on the planet, as well as machinery and bakeries
- Learning the manufacture of a good bread, with a tasting room
- Re-learn how to discover the taste of bread
- Presentation of the relational aspects and of the associations around the bread, from farmers, millers and grain to the bakers and you! You are the reason why all these trades are together!

Selestat is located halfway between Strasbourg and Mulhouse, which is at 21km north of Colmar, 45km south of Strasbourg, along the highway A35. Take exit 25, direction Ebersheim & Selestat.

An hour and half to two hours allow you to learn much more about the bread.
Visit the museum in the morning so that you will be able to enjoy the restaurant at the end of the visit!

The museum is closed Mondays and at lunchtime.

It is also closed on May the 1st, on July the 14th, on November the 1st, on December the 25th & 26th, and on January the 1st.

At last, the House of Bread is a living museum, with many attractions, and is located in the former headquarters of the Corporation of Bakers built in 1522.
