 All clubs and astronomy associations are open to the public when an eclipse is visible. Feel free to join the association location near you. 81% of the surface of the sun will be obscured at the peak of the eclipse, seen from Paris at 10:29 local time.  The whole band starts in the North Atlantic Ocean south of Greenland and through the Norwegian Sea and the Greenland Sea and ends at the North Pole. The eclipse will be visible as a total eclipse only in the Faroe Islands and Spitsbergen (Svalbard). However, it will be visible as a partial eclipse throughout Europe, North Africa and North-West Asia. |
