 Enjoy the ride that offers the tropical zoo of La Londe, labeled "Remarkable Garden". In fact, it has more than 250 animals and hundreds of plants. This park has a vocation as acclimatization and breeding center. Among the animals you will see: - The big red American parrots, - The asian hornbills and the cockatoo from Australia, - Lemurs of Madagascar, - The Amazonian squirrel monkeys, endangered specie, - The wallabies ... About plants, aided by the Mediterranean climate, the park hosts a large number of exotic species with more local others.  The Tropical Zoo is open on the following schedule: - From June to September: daily from 09:30 to 19:00, - In October, February-May: daily from 14:00 to 18:00, - From November to January: Open Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and school holidays: from 14:00 to 17:00 In case of inclement weather, the zoo can be exceptionally closed. Disclaimer : The management team of the destination has the possibility to change the opening days and hours without prior communication.  The zoo is affiliated to several French, European and international organizations for the preservation of animals. The park participates in many trade in animals in order to organize a backup of endangered species. Visits are organized for schools for all grade levels, from kindergarten to primary, and activity books have been set up by the tropical zoo to accompany young visitors. During school holidays and weekends, events are held twice a day. These animations are the meeting place for animal trainers who can then answer to all of your questions. Dogs are not allowed in the park. Since the park is very dry, it is also forbidden to smoke in the park. |
