Thoiry has also its magnificent castle presented by costumed guides, and has its park, gardens, farm, labyrinth, and many outdoor games.

A full day is required to visit a good part of the attractions in Thoiry. In good weather to picnic in the areas provided for this purpose can fully enjoy the day outdoors.When it is cooler, heated picnic room is appreciated. Many activities are planned by the park of Thoiry, like Halloween Party at the castle for the children.Conveniently located 35 minutes away from the Place de l'Etoile (Arc de Triomphe in Paris), it allows you to spend a day fully exotic!
Exotic and poetic side actually, the Earl of La Panouse welcomes you to his Chateau of Thoiry at 5 AM on June the 20th to celebrate the summer solstice in exceptional circumstances.
You will see the sunlight through the Grand Hall of the castle, a real allegory of Annunciation of the Summer.
A conference on the architecture of the castle and an Anglo American breakfast will add a touch of je ne sais quoi that will leave you great memories of your stay.

If you do not have a car, visiting Thoiry is nevertheless possible. Indeed, from May to September, Parisvision (www.parisvision.com) offers a tour every Sunday. The return trip and tickets to Thoiry are included in the package.
By car from Paris, take the A13 then the A12 and the N12 direction Dreux.
Then Exit Thoiry, take the D76 the D11 direction Thoiry.
