A fondamental discovery has been done per a NASA team skilled in biodiversity.
Until today, most of scientists thought that the 4 mandatory chemical elements were CHON : Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen.
Today, bacteria have been found on Earth without some of these elements, in an environment saturated with arsenic.
This is opening the way to numerous biological studies to understand how the energetic exchanges are done and how the life has been able to be created and to be maintained.
